(I already run CEP in Vista mode, it eliminates the bit of latency that happens in Win 7 and it just seems to run best there).Īny thoughts? Or should I just save up and get Audition, and if so, how much different are the later versions compared to CEP 2. To download AUTOTUNE FOR COOL EDIT PRO 2.1, click on the Download button Click it and Thats it, autothne done amigo Accept the license agreement of the Auto Tune application. I am on Win 7 64-bit and can go into XP mode if needed. I've tried a few free ones that work sometimes, and am willing to pay for something that I know will work. Problem is is that I am unable to find a decent VST wrapper for CEP that works with the plug-ins I like. This should be your intention too, as a user, to fully evaluate. Our intentions are not to harm Cool software company but to give the possibility to those who can not pay for any piece of software out there. I mean, if I am mixing a full band, I will use Reaper or PT, but sometimes I just need to throw some quick compression or EQ at a two track stereo recording or whatever and would love to be able to do it in CEP rather than having to open/load a whole new session in Reaper. This release was created for you, eager to use Cool Edit Pro 2.1 full and without limitations. I have Reaper and access to PT, but I use CEP for basic editing (quick and dirty, keeps my work flow quick). (Not sure about how the more recent versions of Audition are, comparatively). Adobe pretty much did nothing to it aside from add VST support when they first bought it and renamed it Audition.
